Overview
Eg Ugd Ra was founded durring the late 14th century in spring of the year 1256, by Zesmthëm Hutchäyel Hutchäawy. The establishment of Eg Ugd Ra was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Zesmthëm Hutchäyel Hutchäawy struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Eg Ugd Ra as a prison colony.
Eg Ugd Ra was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Eg Ugd Ra is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Eg Ugd Ra is buildings are arranged arrounded a highly ordered system of narrow baked earthen streets which form triangular paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. Eg Ugd Ra's robustly designed timber walls are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.
Right off the bat Eg Ugd Ra hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things.

Cultural Notes
Eg Ugd Ra has a long tradition of martial expertise. This may be a crisply-organized history of skilled native levies, or it may be a natural belligerence in the people that leaves them familiar with bloodshed. While their neighbors and liege doubtless respect their talents, this very aptitude might make them more willing to turn to steel than prudence would advise.
Eg Ugd Ra's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by order, symmetry, formal design, grandiosity, and elaborate ornamentation. Architectural characteristics include balustrades, balconies, columns, cornices, pilasters, and triangular pediments. Stone exteriors are massive and grandiose in their symmetry; interiors are typically polished and lavishly decorated with sculptures, swags, medallions, flowers, and shields. Interiors will often have a grand stairway and opulent ballroom..
In Eg Ugd Ra there are unidentifiable people in the fog, but it seems to be okay.
Eg Ugd Ra's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves gestures to channel Abjuration energies of tier 2 via singing.
